Who hires a coach before you have a GM?? Is that not ass-backwards?

OK looks like it's Dave Ziegler. This should be interesting. No idea how much power Daniels has, but I really don't think Ziegler is here just to be a yes man. The guy has been Belichik's right hand for many many years. So, he should know exactly what he's doing.

I fucking LOVED their draft of Mac Jones, it was brilliant. Their defensive personnel always seem to be really good. I expect Ziegler to run our scouting in MUCH the same way the Pats ran theirs.

The more I read up on this pairing, the more I'm starting to come around.
McDaniels is a better play designer than even Gruden. I think he'll come in and want to see what Carr can provide in his contract year.
The new GM is always finding gems for the Pats, hoping he can hire away alot of other scouts that are looking for a change.

A BIG tell for me will be who we get as DC.
