What do you think the Raiders should do? Keep Carr or Junk the Carr?

You don't adjust, you just dominate.

I would like to move on from him. But.... who replaces him? There is no chance in hell that Rogers is coming here. There is no QB worth drafting this year.... and I don't want apromising young talent that can be groomed. Fuck that!

I voted get rid of him, but the truth is, we are stuck with him for at least one more year.... barring some devine intervention that puts Rogers in silver and black.

To me it's gotta be Rodgers or nobody. I like Russell Wilson, but nit sure how much better he is over Carr. With Rodgers, I know he can win. Any other QB besides that and we fall short.

I tend to agree. I like Pickett in the draft but ONLY Pickett. There’s nobody else who’s been prolific enough. Basically Rodgers or Pickett, and swinging either of those guys would require some magic.

The problem, folks, is if you keep Carr, how the fuck you going to force him to play out the final year of his contract? You’re basically FORCED to sign him to an extension if you want to keep him. How the fuck you going to get around that?

So really, the question on the poll should be “give Carr an extension or not?”

I haven't seen that many college games this year so not sure on alot of talent at that level. However I trust the consensus, and most pundits say it's not special.
We have Carr on the books for 1 more season, I think Mayock can begin courting Rodgers after he wins the super bowl, and gets to tour the stadium lol.

I would sure like to see Rogers call the Death Star home! I just don't see it happening. But, stranger things have happened...lol.

Here's a scenario for you:

We trade away Carr for picks. And we're OK if they're high 2023 picks, because we have a plan.

And the plan is to sign Gardner Minshew for the 2022 season and ball out as best we can, then draft best available QB in 2023. That allows us to draft BPA in 2022 and bring in a few expensive young stud FAs because we don't necessarily need quantity this coming season.

Then we fill in the rough spots in FA and draft in 2023, and get the fuck down to business with our new franchise guy. And in 2024, we're doing better than the Bengals are doing this season.

All this IF we can't land Rodgers, of course.

After watching the Bengals beat the Titans, it makes me wonder if we're not that far away with Carr at the helm.
Hell we could have even secured the #2 seed if it wasn't for the Gruden fiasco. All that and we almost beat the Bengals even after the refs kept flagging us the entire game. I have a feeling we would have beat the Titans today but we'll never know.

I say Rodgers next year or just keep building this team.

Well it's going to be largely up to a new GM - getting rid of Mayock wasn't a good move IMO.

I agree; getting rid of Mayiock was not a good idea. This franchise never ceases to amaze me with stupid decisions.

If this next iteration of the Raiders is a dud...... I just have to face the reality that I will never see another Supper Bowl win.
