Raiders cut Marquette King, Clive Walford

The Raiders released punter Marquette King and waived tight end Clive Walford, the club announced Friday.
King, originally signed by the club as an undrafted free agent in 2012, spent his first six years with the Raiders. He played 80 games, punting 426 times for 19,941 yards (46.8 average). He pinned 156 punts inside the 20 with 33 touchbacks.
He finished first in Pro Bowl fan voting last year, though he has never made an all-star game.
The Raiders signed King to a five-year, $16.5 million contract extension a year ago. His release saves the Raiders $2.9 million against their cap.
Walford, originally drafted by the Raiders in the third round of the 2015 NFL Draft, played 44 games with 10 starts. He made 70 catches for 768 yards and six touchdowns in his career in Oakland.

King was a hot dogging niggger...he was serviceable so hopefully we have an adequate replacement.

He’s a good punter but who needs a punter that gets multiple penalties. That’s why we look so stupid. No discipline even the jig punter acts like a fuckin clown. Grudens denigggerization continues. Crabtree, Aldon & Sean Smith, King, Walford. Teams turn things around in a year, two years look at Rams & Eagles. Reggie six years in still clueless. Gruden has to clean the mess.

Anyone else notice Gruden looking a little tired in some of his interviews? You know how Jack Del Rio and company always saying they'll look at the film and " get this things turned aroumd?" You can tell Gruden has rolled up his sleeves and has been watching a shit ton of film, no doubt Kings stupid ass antics got him cut. To be fair , Jack mentioned this last season when he was getting personal fouls every other week, but leave it to Gruden to pull the trigger. While he was a good punter, too often he seemed like he was in a different world...we would be losing and most of the team would be angry or trying to play fast...King would start dancing after a long punt and acting all fly. Stupid ass.

Excellent move by Gruden. This dumb niggger is a fucking punter! Who gets penalties & is a social media star. Gruden doesn’t give a fuck about that stupid shit. They call King the NFL most entertaining punter. The media likes him cause he’s entertaining. GET HIM THE FUCK OUT. Now he’s on the Broncos vowing revenge against Gruden. Ofcourse Gruden looks tired. He never sleeps and inherited a swiss cheese roster from King Kong with a Calculator. Reggie is king of the cheap 1 yr contracts to 2nd tier free agents and drafting rapists and guys with baboon hearts. Reggie is focusing on his modeling career I believe.

You're kidding, right? I wish to GOD he could land some 2nd tier players! Then we might have someone like Kyle Fuller or Malcolm Butler instead of Melvin and Sharece Whoever-the-fuck-he-is, or maybe a RB like Hyde instead of Martin, or a DT like Poe instead of Carradine.

Nah bro, 2nd-tier players would be a major upgrade over what we got.
