I think they are pacing Lynch so he will be good in short yardage situations, and he will be insane later in the season if they keep him healthy. I hate that he sits during the National Anthem, but he does get this team pumped up.

Has to be they're saving him for the entire season and hopefully a long ass playoff run. We're gonna need him in those cold ass December games where Crabtree and company pack it in due to them not being able to feel their balls....like most of us would on national tv.

Great points guys. I don't think they should have sat him until later in the game than they did, but this makes sense.
