Minkah Fitzpatrick?

Minkah Fitzpatrick?

Postby DeadRinger » Fri Sep 13, 2019 10:58 am

Several things point to this trade being possible:

1. Abram is on the shelf for the rest of the season, we're working out a bunch of DBs.

2. Minkah is pissed and wants out.

3. Phins want a pretty high pick - word is a 2, but we could prob talk them down to a 3. We have the picks to play with. Plus we freed a ton of cap space ditching Brown.

4. Kid is seriously young, can't even get a new contract for an other 2 years. We could have the best Ss in the league for 5 straight seasons. And yeah, dude needs to be a FS, I don't buy al the versatility BS, I don't think he's fast enough to be a CB.

5. We could move Joyner to CB full-time, giving us one of the best CB corps in the league in Conley/Joyner/Worley.

With a seriously up-and-coming pass rush and a major d-backfield, along with Gruden's scheme picking up a lot of steam and a bitchin' OL, 2020 could be our year to break out big after we draft Jeudy in the first round.

Sounds plausible hopefully Mayock is stalking this forum. Still pissed Abrams left so soon. Kid added tremendous energy and an edge that complimented Burfict.

I like Minkah, only thing is it'll seal the fate of Katl Joseph. He made some plays behind the line of scrimmage, but he cant cover TEs for the life of him.
Minkah Fitzpatrick can and at a high level. I just think you make this kind of trade if your one or two guys away, and like you said Dead, we'll be contenders next season with Juedy in the fold.
Its been reported we'll have nearly $88 million again to go shopping. If Carr has the season he's capable of Gruden can just keep adding weapons for him. I'd just keep the picks and trust in Mayocks drafting acumen.

Yup time to brand that virgin market Vegas. Only way is to have the Raiders winning football games and in the spotlight this year and next.

Minkah or no Minkah this defense is garbage. Our qb sucks and the coach should retire and go back in the booth. That was a despicable performance. Poorly called game by Chuck the suck.
