A word from Mark Davis

I found this on Twitter, but the link is on ESPN so you all could find it there I'm sure.
In a nutshell, he takes the blame for where we stand, defends Carr, blames poor drafting, and offers some insights on Mack, Cooper, and confirms our suspicions for what went down in that Redskin game.
Mentioned someday the story will come out, but that the team went to shit that day a d it never was the same. We all called it, it was easy to see...
He mentioned the team could not decide on how to protest, and was divisive the rest of the season. It's worth your time, but mainly shit we already knew.

Militants like Marshawn, Crabtree, Penn maybe Osomele probably had a problem with Carr standing standing during the anthem and let him know it by not protecting him during that game. That was Carr's third game into his 1st yr of his fat contract as well. The next game are thereabouts he fucked up his vertebrae in Denver. Divided locker room probably got worse from there on in 2017. We were 6-6 at one point last year and have won only one game since and that was Cleveland this year. We've lost 12 of our last 13 games. 2020 can't come fast enough. This is unwatchable.

This is the type of shit Gruden is trying to stop. MD just admitted with the protest shit that Reggie created a toxic locker room. And he admits Reggie & his drafts were busts. Same shit everybody here has been saying for years except faggots like Del, Ghost, 790, and all those other liberal twats that were so stupid. Well, Davis just said it you fucking retards. Mack did not want to be a Raider. Fuck him! Not Gruden’s fault, I think he did the best thing for us by getting those picks. Mack was gonna pull a Levon Bell move. We should thank Gruden for salvaging something out of the situation. Also for shipping out Cooper. I get what Gruden is doing & I’m behind our coach 100%. Unless he blows the picks! Build for the future! Leave Oakland in the toilet where it belongs. It gets a 1-15 team cause it’s a 1-15 City. Oakland is Reggie & Reggie is a fuckin loser

Apparently Carr was asked about a report from the locker room after the Charger game, to which he replied that wasn't who he is....or some shit like that.
Reporter asked him about a veteran on the team saying he needed to get the hell out of there!
I'm sure this shit is stacked high in the locker room.
Hopefully we don't go back to the days where the players are laughing in the locker room after the game.
One problem I do have is Gruden bringing in 20 one year free agents that have played on 9 different teams. It doesn't feel like they're raiders...
Probably just here for their last paycheck before getting cut yet again.
Can't wait for this season to end and see who the hell we get.
I'd love for it to 0lay out like this.
#2 overall - Bosa
#12 overall Devin White MLB
#23 overall Best WR available or Noah Fant TE.

Second rounders best available saftey or RT.
Time to bring in some top level college players who are used to winning and dominating.

Lol, I'm tired of this shit just like you all. We have a right to be pissed, but I'm over it and want to move on...like now.
Which is why I choose to look to the mock drafts every now and again and watch some college football.

That vet who supposedly said for Carr to get the hell out of here was wrong saying that. But you got a kid making 25 mill per who isn't a leader or a gamer, has no fire and who is afraid of getting touched. Carr wastes plays by checking down more than any QB in football and throws the ball away instead of running or taking a sack. That's not a football player thats a primadonna pussy boy. If Carr was making more like 5 to 8 mill a yr he wouldn't be getting the dissension he receives from some teammates. The kid is a fuckin absolute disgrace. Mark talks about how bad our drafts have been than why is Reggie still employed. The buck starts with Mark like he says than cut tix prices. Loyal fans for decades have paid to see this inferior product on the field this year when they thought they'd have a viable team to root for when Gruden was hired. Gruden says he wants to win well your team is playing like and your bullshit playcalling points to you want the 1st or 2nd pick in the draft. Typically the impact game changer types are found in the high 1st round. Does Gruden ever try to get the ball down the field to test the secondary and maybe get a PI flag or a reception and flip the field and maybe try to get points..ofcourse not. 22 points combined in 4 of the last 5 games points to that. This program is a fuckin joke!!! They should give tix away for free or discount. People paying for this garbage is highway robbery. Carr with all his checkdowns gets his comfortable 22 for 32 comp % or thereabouts for maybe 230 to 250 yds and maybe a random TD pass so on paper he looks decent to good in his QBR comp% and ydg for the game. Gimme a break, this kid is comfortable showing his face after another loss with the same overinflated numbers because he has no goal to move the ball into the red zone. His QBR in the 4th qtr and in the red zone have to be the worst in football. That stat matters a lot as well as TD to FG ratio in the red zone.

Guys, if we’re going to be real about this, we can easily argue that Gruden is a victim in all this. Yeah, damn right, a victim.

He was sold a bill of goods that didn’t exist.

When he signed on he had no idea Reggie had already alienated Mack and the fucker was intent on working his way out of the organization. Gruden thought he had a hung-ho pass-rushing stud who would be here for the next 5 years crushing QB skulls. Remember, Gruden couldn’t even TALK to any of these fuckin guys.

So Reggie tells him the Mack deal’s in the bag, because Reggie’s too stupid to know what’s going on w his own players and he thinks all it takes is the right amount of money. So Gruden’s stoked.

Then he finds out what Mack REALLY thinks of this org, probably goes home and breaks all his fucking dishes throwing them against the wall. Now he knows trying to sign Mack is going to be nothing but hellish distraction and terrible press for the Raiders and cuts his losses, and now Gruden gets to take all the heat for Reggie’s abject stupidity. Of course nobody knows what’s actually going on, they think Gruden just willingly traded away the best defender in the league when his hand was hard-core forced.

Then he gets the rest of the losers on the field and figures out that Reggie literally has no idea what he’s doing, and is the worst talent evaluator in the league.

But worse than that, he finds out that his locker room is fucking upside-down, run by militant fuckheads like Donald Penn instead of Carr. And he starts to get the picture from Mark about why that is, Mark finally let’s him know about all the kneeling bullshit and he the o-line let Carr get fucking crushed and the entire team is now a dumpster fire and it’s up to him to fix it.

But by then, of course, the draft and FA are over with so Gruden can’t do much to fix the train wreck he’s been saddled with.

So now he knows he had to blow this shit up and start over. At this point he probably figures he needs to start with a new QB, unless he knows something about Carr that we don’t.

He’s going to have to get rid of everyone on the interior OL if he wants to cut the toxicity out of the team. That’s a fucking nightmare scenario right there.

Gruden isn't a victim in all this. He knows what's going on in the NFL and he knows people who know people in the league. He was a head coach, he knows many locker rooms have cancers that can spread. Gruden got 100 mill for 10 yrs so when he took the job he'd cross any bridge he needed to. Gruden isn't stupid he knew what Mack wanted was going to be an issue when they already had 25 mill on the books for Carr. Mack being dealt has nothing to do with blowing up the roster to make us inconsequential. He ultimately wanted Chucky's team so he'd get all the credit if we win a Super bowl in Vegas. His ego got the best of him.

That’s just it tho, he blew up a shitty roster one that at full strength would be 4-12. What was he supposed to do? Sign S Smith, keep Amerson? Edwards jr was injured for 3 years. So Gruden walks into a situation where Mack wants to leave, he has no talent & a divided locker room because of the anthem shit. Also the entire team is injured making it even worse. The thing I don’t understand is both Davis & Gruden have said it’s because of Reggie’s shithead moves so why is Reggie still employed? Del Rio was fired 2 seconds after game but Reggie is still dragging his knuckles around
