Carson Palmer not coming back would have derailed 2013 anyway and Hue being fired after 2011 didn't help things. RM biggest mistakes to date aside from not addressing the O-line issues. Pryor, Flynn and McGloin on the roster was a recipe for disaster going into this season, three young raw unproven players at the most key position in sports.

Palmer would not have left, but for the incompetence from the top down. The problem in Oakland stems from coaching which starts with the GM. The rest is superfluous.

Raiders are a small market team with small attendance and are obviously having problems finding talent as coach and GM, and I don't think mark Davis looking to make a huge financial investment in that area as AD never was. We have officially become the LA Clippers of back in the day, hopelessly pathetic.

Regardless of who is playing QB. No QB can have success under these circumtances. No Oline, No WR threat, no Running Game. What QB can play with that on the table? Drew Brees would look a sorry fuck with this mess.

I know no one wants to talk about next year, but RM and Allen will have draft picks and lots of money to make things happen next season.

Step#1 for the Raiders - Replace the OL and bring in a real OL.
Step#2 for the Raiders - Repeat Step#1 until the OL is pro bowl caliber

The Raiders have the WORST offensive line (an offensive, offensive line) in the entire NFL -- Bar None! (Including the Jaguars). Until that problem is fixed, pocket passers will need to pass from the ground, option runners will have to run like hell, and whomever is in between will have to stare down their WRs because there won't be any time to go through progressions. You could start Joe Montana behind this line and he would look like Akili Smith
