In OT vs the Phins as I type. If we lose this game, it’s ALL on Gruden. Period, nobody else. It’s not because Carlson missed an XP. It’s not because Carr threw a Pick-six. It’s not because of ANYTHING that might happen in OT.

It’s because, when all we needed was a couple first downs, Gruden had no fucking idea how to get them. ANY fucking time this douchebag tries to protect a lead, he becomes the most predictable play caller in the league. Run, run, pass to try to get the first.

Even if we lose 5 fucking yards on the first run he’s going to run it again. And always set Carr up for a 3rd and long.

Absolutely atrocious play calling by Gruden.

THAT's not the question dude.

The question is whether or not this team and its coaches will be able to make the playoffs.

That's what we do here - analyze THAT question, because it's all that matters. Because we can easily just reminisce about ANY of the last 20 years if we want to get happy about non-playoff seasons. We don't. We do NOT get happy about non-playoff seasons.

WHY? Because we're Raiders fans from back in the day. We remember the SBs. We remember "Just Win Baby!" We remember "Commitment to Excellence." We remember "We Take What We Want." That's the whole fucking reason we BECAME Raiders fans in the first place.

For Raiders fans like us, losing is unacceptable. And losing to the motherfucking CHARGERS is a motherfucking DISASTER, no matter when or how it happens.

If THEY can beat us then there are probably at least 10 other teams that can beat us. And there are probably 3 teams in our own damn division that can beat us.

So the question now is: Do Gruden & Co. stay the course an continue to do what they've been doing, or do they learn from this defeat and make adjustments accordingly? Well, history tells us Gruden will ALWAYS call plays the way Gruden has ALWAYS called plays.

We didn't lose this game because we don't have the talent to beat the Chargers. We lost because of GRUDEN. We punted FIVE fucking times in this game.

I see our first drive: 2 yd run | 1 yd run | incomplete pass | punt.

Tell me something. Look back on the first drive of all 4 games this season. Tell me what we've done. I'm dead fucking serious, I want you to tell me what we've accomplished in our first series of every game so far.

Then, down 14-0, I see another series: 4 yd run | 5 yd run | 0 yd run | punt.

Now tell me something else. Down 14-0, why the HELL would you call a series of plays like that? Can you tell me that? THAT is a series of calls you make when you're UP 14-0! THERE ARE NO THROW-AWAY SERIES IN THE NFL!! And after THAT series nothing else mattered because we went down 21-0 and the freakin' game was essentially over!

This team has what it takes to get to the playoffs. Easily. But it doesn't have the play calling it takes.

But that all being said, I'm "on record" today October 5, 2021 stating undeniably that Jon Gruden will lead the Raiders to at least the AFC Championship game this year.
