Watching Ruggs break free and hook up on that bomb on the other side of the field was a thing of beauty.
Watching him drop the pass early on (it was a little behind him and probably won't be counted as a drop) was not a thing of beauty. Ruggs still needs to get a better feel for zone coverage, understand where the sweet spots are so he can sit down in them instead of overrunning them.
He does great against man, of course. Who can possibly hang with him, after all? But against zone he has some maturing to do still.
BETTER be a playoff win in 2022.
