Posted: Tue Feb 04, 2020 12:05 pmWe need someone who can be a force up the middle for Mad Max to take flight to the next level. He had higher numbers than Nick Bosa with less talent around him. Next year yeams will game plan for him, so we'll need to find some help up the gut. Ferrell was decent, but I hope he takes the next step also. Howie Long said it best when comparing Ferrell, " he played last year like he was trying not to make a mistake while Max played loose and just let it fly".
We don't need Max getting double teamed next season.
I like our current DT rotation, but they're more run stoppers woth PJ Hall being the best explosive player out of the bunch and his numbers just aren't there yet. We need a premium DT who can play on 3rd and longs.
