Will Nick Nelson make the team??

Looking at our CBs, we have a few options.

killings doesn't have a single NFL stat to his name, but he has been on a roster. I don't know much about the UDFAs. But I think the job is Nelson's to lose.There's just not much to play with below Lawson.

Locks to make the 53-man:
Conley - Our #1
Worley - Our #2, soon to be our #3
Trayvon Mullen - Likely our #3, soon to be our #2
Isaiah Johnson - Little bit of a project but could climb the ranks fast

Near-locks to make the 53-man. These guys would have to do something really wrong to get cut:
Nevin Lawson - Only a 1-yr deal but $1.55M of his $3M total pay for 2019 is guaranteed. He's the 3rd highest-paid CB on our roster.

I like Nick Nelson, however he's going t9 be purely depth at this point. Only a matter of time until Trayvon Mullen takes over for Worley. Just seen video of him hanging tough with AB at a local high school. Antonio was doing his best to make a highlight video but Trayvon not only hung with him but damn near got an interception. He'll have his ups and downs like all rookies / corners do but he's got talent.

That's good to hear. Maybe this team will surprise us this year. It will surely be better than a 4 win team, at least.

All about the W's irregardless of who is on the roster. Shit, with our sked the first 4 games we can conceivably start 0-4. I'd be happy with 8-8 or 9-7 considering the sked and many new faces on the team.
