Jaguars to gauge trade interest for Jalen Ramsey next year

Postby piratepride » Sun Nov 18, 2018 10:42 am

Per Adam Shefter, the Jags will look into trading Ramsey after his latest Twitter post, telling Jags fans they'll miss him when he gone.
I don't know what you think about the outgoing character, but I view him as a younger version of Marcus Peters.
I'd be more than happy to send them the Bears choice at #29.
I know most of you are too pissed to think about options next year, and think were doomed with Gruden at the helmet, but I'll give my take anyway.
1.Bosa DE 1st overall.
2.Devin White LB 15th overall.
3. Trade! Jalen Ramsey to Oakland for the 29th overall selection.
2nd round- best available WR or RT.

Getting those three dudes would help any defense for years to come. Plus, Mo Hurst is grading out as a top rookie DT from what I've been reading. We've got a few pieces, just need to keep stacking.
This year's picks and cap $$$ should go a long way to getting some respectability back.

I'm pissed, but I don't think Gruden is incompetent. I like what you posted and I would make that trade without a problem. I would love to see Bosa in silver and black!

All these moves are hypothetical. Gruden never demonstrated he can build a winning roster from scratch what makes anyone think he can now. This is the same asshole who thought Johnny Manziel should be #1 overall pick. Just Trust the Digress by Chuck the suck. He'll be gone in his 3rd or 4th yr with zero results. Book it!

I don’t think they’ll be able to get a 1st rounder for Ramsey, with the mouth that stupid fucker has been shooting off this season. They’re going to have to discount him. Because whoever trades for him is taking on the risk that he’ll force his way out of his new team or poison their locker room as well. But you’re right, he’s a LOT like Peters, that’s a great comparison.

I’m not sure man, it seems like a pretty dangerous guy to start a rebuild with especially since we’d have to give up a 2nd or something pretty big. The talent’s undeniable, even though Ramsey will never be as good as he thinks he is. He’s a fucking legend in his own mind.

I think he’d be better playing FS, personally.

While he plays on a damn good defense, Ramsey shut out Antonio Brown today and made some huge interceptions. He'd be better than anyone we had playing corner since Woodson/ Asomugha.
He is a head case though, I'd trade him for a 2nd in no time flat.

Do we have a 2nd this year? I thought we swapped our 2nd for CHI’s 3rd this year.

Remember, our 2nd rounder is going to be highly valuable. Basically a late 1st.

I tend to agree.

Martavis is a dope fiend but at least he’s not poison. He doesn’t shoot his mouth off and talk a bunch of shit, the man just likes his weed.

Dead, we have our own 2nd rounder this year. We swapped our 2nd for Chicago's 3rd in 2020.
