I'll give him his chance too.
And I'll say this. If he can produce a 10-win season with this roster and this OC, I'll be hyper-impressed.
I expect good - not great - things from the O (rank 13-15). I expect below-average - to poor - not terrible - things from the D (rank 20-22).
I expect about a 7-9 to 8-8 season. MAYBE a little worse if some of the dominoes fall the wrong way. For instance, Bryant, Key, Worley get into trouble, key parts get injured, Kolton turns out not to be starter material at RT this season... Then maybe 6-10 again.
We had a chance to make a big difference. We didn't do it. So now it's up to hard work, brilliance and a little good luck to pull the buggy out of the ditch.
BETTER be a playoff win in 2022.
