Reggie doesn't know how to build a defense or for that matter anything. Mark needs to pull the trigger on this guy at seasons end. We've had Fuckin King Kong with a calculator as the GM for over half a decade now.

Lol... I don’t think people are clear on your thoughts regarding Reggie. That horse has died twice man. And everyone knows it sucked before you beat it to death twice. But it seems like you’re getting it out so more power to you man.

No not really. Just come to the conclusion just another wasted season in Oakland unless Gruden pulls a miracle.

Cool man. The good news is that expectations are low, if not zero or below zero. We can only be surprised pleasantly for a miracle. Most important thing I want to see is a rebuild and improvement of our D and improvement and progress from Carr. If those two things can be a strength of the team going into 19’ regardless of our win/loss record, we have a future to look forward to. The draft choices and the logic behind them will confirm or deny who’s calling the shots, Reggie or Gruden. The final 53 man roster will further validate that notion.

To your point about Reggie’s incompetence, every player on this roster was chosen by Reggie. The fact that Gruden is rampaging through and gutting it left and right and only able to replace them with 2nd tier guys and veterans on their back 9 shows you how bad and thin the roster is under Reggie’s control. By doing so, Gruden is validating the incompetence of Reggie’s personnel choices. If Reggie had not been re-upped as Del Zero, and those GM contracts are guaranteed, Reggie would have not been here today. MD is not going to eat Del Zero and his Staff’s contracts and Reggie’s as well. So trust that Gruden will do the hiring, and Reggie will be HR and filling out contracts and managing the cap. Which he is competent at. We didn’t have to lose cap to Amerson, Smith, Crabtree or any of our big money to move on from bad performance. After this year, we can walk on Carr if he doesn’t get his shit right. Cooper’s 5th year option at 12.9 mil is not picked up yet, so we can continue to get Gruden’s players, and even some big ones if we want next year. Before all these contracts, our cap was $90 mil for 19’ without Mack and Cooper. So there’s that to build on.

So we are just gonna have to play the waiting game with Reggie. Once Gruden straightens out his mess we could be better. It’s a disgrace Gruden has to come into a mess like this.
