ALAMEDA, Calif. – The Oakland Raiders have signed unrestricted free agent CB Shareece Wright, the club announced Monday.
Wright will be entering his eighth NFL season in 2017, having made stops with the San Diego Chargers, Baltimore Ravens and Buffalo Bills over his first seven years. His career totals include 79 games played with 48 starts, 255 tackles (226 solo), two interceptions, 36 passes defensed, two forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries.
With the Bills in 2017, Wright played in 12 games, recording 42 tackles and one interception in helping Buffalo reach the postseason. Prior to spending the 2015-16 seasons with the Ravens, Wright played four seasons for the Chargers after being selected by the team in the third round (89th overall) of the 2011 NFL Draft.
A native of Colton, Calif., the 5-foot-11, 185-pounder played in 35 games at USC, finishing his college career with 127 tackles, 3.5 sacks, one interception and 13 passes defensed. Wright served as a team captain his senior season.

He’s going to be a nickle or dime back. He has experience but he’s not an impact guy. Just for depth and competition against Hamilton and McDonald. He has enough notice not to spend another $1k on Uber this time lol.

I don't care if you like the move but don't call this idiot a solid player. He sucks, and he'll be gone before the season starts.

He’s depth at best. More importantly he’s better than Hamilton or McDonald. So he may be shit, but he’s better shit than the shit we have right now. If the draft and waivers yield better players, he won’t make it out of camp. Just to upgrade what we currently have. Shows how bad the roster is when Wright can be considered an upgrade for depth.
