Raiders Trade CP to NE

No details on what we get...former first round pick. We have Ryan Grant coming in so that makes sense. Will use the money from CP to pay Grant. CP not a route runner and Gruden runs a precise system based on timing. Updates when more is known.

@RapSheet

Terms: The #Patriots traded for WR Cordarrelle Patterson, while swapping a 5th round pick for a #Raiders 6th round pick.

So now we have our full complement of picks. Got rid of 3.5 mil for a KR who is limited in route running, and should pick up our number 4 WR coming tonight for cheap with the money we saved from the trade. One less need going into the draft. Definitely a Gruden move. Reggie does not trade anything. We know who’s running personnel.

The news gets better
Replying to @VicTafur
A move up of 26 slots from #185 to #159, since NE had previously traded their original #168 slot to Seattle in Cassius Marsh trade.

Definitely not Reggie making this move. Gruden getting work done on Sunday night. Nice to see a real HC at work. Del Zero would be at a Vidal Sassoon hair product exposition.

Didn't that fuckin kike boy Adam Schefter say Ryan Grant failed his physical? Watch Patterson do well in New England. He was under utilized last year as a receiver.

Lol...BAL screwed him. They gave him 4 years 29 mil. Right before he signed Crabs became available. They “failed” his physical and voided the deal. Way over paying him because no one was available. They sign Crab 3 years 21 mil. That drives his value way down.. Colts passed him on a physical, but he didn’t sign with them. We will prob do a 1 year prove it 3.5 to 4.5 with him. Same system as WAS, so he’d be smart to bet on himself and try FA again next year.

Digging the WR hole deeper. Patterson made some big catches for us last season, it wasn’t just return shit. And he’s a burner. Coop is a deep threat but he’s pretty much the only one now. Too easy to keep him from ripping th elide off now.

I see a lot of subtraction and no addition. A couple of lateral moves at best, and a bunch of trash.

Belichik doesn’t tend to trade for losers.

I like the Nelson signing. But one good old guy in and two competent guys out is not how you build a good unit.

Nelson is slow now so we'll see what brings this year.

More importantly, he’s not playing with Rodgers. That’s a bigger deal than what he’s lost in speed. If Carr does not get his shit straight from last year, it doesn’t matter what anyone else does. Gruden realizes this as well, that’s why the power smash mouth running game. Gotta take the pressure of Carr. Ds were T’ng off on him last year because we telegraphed our run and pass tendencies to the point of getting laughed at literally by opposing coordinators.

6 TDs in 5 games with Rodgers, no TDs remaining season with Rodgers out. It’s on Carr to get him the rock.
