Jets at Raiders predictions

I think we may blow this team out. 1st game home, beast mode and the defense will want to get to the quarterback to pad their stats.
This Jet team reminds me of the bed and breakfast offense we had under Art Shell's second stint.

27-10 Raiders.

They still have a righteous DL that could keep us from running up 30 pts. We have to focus on protecting Carr. If we can do it, there won't ever be a doubt in this game. If we can't, the jets could stay in it til the 3rd or 4th qtr. A great run/pass balance would work wonders because if we can get play action working it's all over. Let's get our 3-headed run game fired the fuck up and cut it loose.

Unfortunately, based on what I saw from this past game, our OL still looks like it's FAR better at pass pro than at opening holes.

Either way, we win. We could prob pass on every single down and still win. Our D should even be able to pressure their QB - whoever the fuck that is.

28 10 Raiders. The pressure on the Jets playing us at home is too much for that young team. Crowd will be going crazy.

Since I was right on the last game, I'm gonna say 31 to 7 Raiders!!!

Crabtree's putting in his usual solid first-half-of-the-season performance.

Let's talk about him again around game 11.

Well, you were right that we won the game. But Forbidden was closest of all of us to predicting the right score. One point overall closer than I was.

Nice call forbidden. Let's see if you can keep the Nostradamus streak going this week. Jets' DL hasn't been playing well, so it's very possible we beat 30-40 points out of them.

Getting Wilkerson and Williams playing hard is the only chance they have of staying within a TD of us.

Question might be when we have the game in the bag early in the 4th qtr most likely will Jack sit Carr and bring in Cook or Manuel like he should of done in the Colt game last year. Rest some players late, give' em rooks valuable snaps. Raiders 34 Jets 13 my pick....and it won't be that close.

Exactly right. He needs to do this the whole season! He always flamed out at the end. Hopefully this season he will keep it going all year. If he does? Del will have a 6 month hard on!

If he does, I'll be the first one here waving Del's pom poms for him and giving him the credit he deserves.

If.
