My questions would be: Do we take a cap hit by cutting or trading him, or would it be a net cap gain?
He has one more season left making $8M. That's crazy money for a guy who can barely get in 9 games per season. My suggestion would be to rework his contract in a way that gives him a reasonable extension. He should be open to it. Unfortunately I have no faith that Reggie can make things like that happen, the way Al did.
