Raiders wide receiver Tim Brown was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame Saturday night, making the final five for modern era players and then getting the requisite 80 percent of the vote from the 46 selectors.
It was Brown’s sixth attempt, and he beat out former Indianapolis Colt Marvin Harrison as the lone receiver enshrined.
The Class of 2015 also includes Junior Seau, Charles Haley, Jerome Bettis, Will Shields, Bill Polian and Mick Tinglehoff.
Brown is the 23rd Raiders player to make the Hall of Fame.
