No wonder why when Al Davis meddled in every fuckin thing he did and probably included 'what did you eat for breakfast'.....AD doesn't pay head coaches very well and undermined them favoring the players! He alone fucked this franchise up especially since they've been back in Oakland going on twenty years now except for the Gruden years

And that changes the fact that he CHOSE to leave how? I keep reading how Gruden was sold/traded/let go/kicked to the curb. That just isn't true.

I'm tired of hearing about how Al "meddled" in everything. Al Davis is the reason why we have the current NFL. Al Davis was a coach, commissioner and owner in this league. Al didn't meddle, he managed. He may not have managed in the way you liked, but that's what he did. And there ain't a single sole in the organization right now doing HALF as well as Al did, even as an old man. So get over this shit.

Yada Yada Yada....since 1986 till now this franchise has made the playoffs SIX times!!! SIX times!! in 27 seasons!!! ! Al Davis was top notch from 1963 to 1985 where they made the playoffs FIFTEEN times. Nuff said!! Don't care what he did for the NFL, or this or that!! he alone ran this fuckin franchise into the ground!! Ego, stubbornness, undermining coaches, bad drafts and over paying vets who dumped for the most part, firing coaches was his legacy the last quarter century!
