The Final Three Games Matter Most for Us

Ya know what's funny? So many fans think that the Raiders decline has only been the last 10 years. Other than the brief success of the early 2000's, this team has been in decline for the last 25+ years. I love Al...... he's a huge part of why I'm a Raiders fan. But... he made some bad decisions, drafts and acquisitions over that period of time. I'm not about to search for or cite any of them, so, flame away if you must. If you're old enough, you know what I said is the truth.

In the 53 years of Raider football, the team has been to the post season 21 times. 6 coaches are responsible for those 21 visits to the post season. We've had a total of 18 head coaches in that time. 19 if you count Shell's second stint. Gruden, Shell 1.0, Flores, Madden, and Rauch are the only ones that have post season success and 3 years or more as head coach. Callahan is the other (2 years).

Major contribution to that decline aside from what you mentioned is the Raiders haven't had a viable Quarterback aside from Gannon since Plunkett and especially Stabler.

Last year we had a 4000-yard passer for the first time since Gannon.

Your GM traded him away for a happy meal.

Cards are 9-5. We're 4-10. there are only TWO teams in the league with fewer wins than us. And it's ALL Reggie McKenzie's fault.

You can piss and whine all you want about major factor this and primary factor that, but the FACT of the matter is your GM and HC fucked us all over big-time.

One game down. The HC has lost the respect of his team. The Raiders management has lost the respect of this team. Next Sunday could easily be worse.
