Quarterback Carson Palmer made the top ten single season passing performance list in the Oakland Raiders's organization. Since joining the team mid-way through the 2011 season, Palmer has made the 3rd and 4th place in the top ten passing list.

The Raiders web site reported on Thursday that Palmer accomplished two spots in the top ten passing performance list in the history of the Oakland franchise.

He was recognized for his performance on November 4, 2012, when he played against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In that game, Palmer threw for 414 yards, 39 completions out of 61 attempts. He also had four touchdowns on that day, despite the three interceptions.

The game against the Buccaneers was a loss, 42-32, but it put Palmer in fourth place of the best passing performance list in Raider history.

The other recognition, which got Palmer the third best passing performance in Oakland’s history, was the game against the San Diego Chargers played on January 1, 2012.

In that game, Palmer threw for 417 yards with two touchdowns. He had completed 28 out of 43 attempts. No picks on that day.

However, the Raiders still lost that game to the Chargers with a final score of 38-26.

Despite Carson Palmer putting up great passing numbers this last season, the Oakland Raiders had a losing season, 4-12, for the 10th consecutive time.
